Equity Research Analyst at Moneyvesta
Equity Research Analyst Role
A role for those who value depth, patience, and long-term thinking over market noise.
Research Is the Foundation of Our Advice
At Moneyvesta, equity research is not a support function. It is central to how we think about capital allocation, risk, and long-term outcomes for clients.
Our advisory work depends on a deep understanding of businesses, industries, and competitive dynamics. The Equity Research Analyst role exists to build that understanding through disciplined analysis rather than short-term market reactions.
This role is designed for individuals who enjoy studying businesses in detail and forming views that can withstand time, uncertainty, and changing market cycles.

The Nature of the Work
As an Equity Research Analyst, your work will focus on understanding businesses from the ground up. This includes, but is not limited to:
The emphasis is on quality of thinking, not frequency of output.
- Studying industry structures, value chains, and competitive landscapes
- Analyzing business models, cost drivers, and unit economics
- Understanding balance sheets, cash flows, and capital allocation decisions
- Evaluating long-term risks, cyclicality, and structural tailwinds
- Building and maintaining financial models where appropriate
- Writing clear internal research notes that explain reasoning, not just conclusions
How We Think About Equity Research
We believe good research takes time. It requires reading, revisiting assumptions, and being comfortable with uncertainty.
We do not expect instant answers or constant opinions. We value analysts who are willing to say “I need to study this further” when clarity is missing.
Our research approach prioritizes:
- Long-term business fundamentals over short-term price movements
- Process and discipline over prediction
- Intellectual honesty over conviction for its own sake
